  1. The 7 Lagoons Tour at the foot of the Ausangate Glacier is a breathtaking full-day hike, where you will explore stunning turquoise-green lagoons, part of the Vilcanota mountain range, and get close to the majestic Ausangate and Ayangate mountains. You will also have the chance to relax in natural hot springs while enjoying spectacular views of the Andean peaks and local life.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Then, we will travel by tourist transport for approximately 3 hours until we reach the community of Pacchanta. Here, we will have breakfast before beginning our hike. We will gradually ascend, reaching our first lagoon, and then continue visiting the rest one by one.

The hike lasts around 5 hours (round trip). Along the way, you will visit several lagoons, each unique in size and color, ranging from deep blue to turquoise and green. Some of them are large and look like natural mirrors. The lagoons we will visit are: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, Orqo Otorongo, and China Otorongo.

During the hike, it is also possible to spot Andean birds, alpacas, llamas, and vizcachas. After completing the route, we will return to Pacchanta, where a delicious lunch will be waiting for us.
