Itinerary 1-Day Maras Moray Quad Bike Tour
DAY 1: CUSCO – MARAS – MORAY – SALINERAS – CUSCO
Start Time: Choose to start your tour in the morning at 7:00 AM or in the afternoon at 1:00 PM. We’ll meet you at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, a day before the tour to confirm details.
Journey to Cruzpata: We’ll drive for about an hour to Cruzpata. Once there, we’ll give you a quick safety talk and a 10-minute practice session on the quad bikes. After that, our exciting ride begins!
Quad Biking Adventure: The ride lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours, taking you off-road through beautiful spots. We’ll stop at scenic viewpoints and special places perfect for photos. You’ll get to see the daily life of local people and admire their traditional house fronts.
Explore Hidden Gems: We’ll ride through spectacular areas where few tourists go, letting you fully appreciate nature’s beauty. You’ll also see local farming up close and have the option to visit the Moray archaeological site, known as the “Inca Agricultural Experiment Center” (optional).
Visit the Salineras: After the quad biking circuit, our transport will take you to the Maras salt mines. Please note that quad bikes aren’t allowed at the salt pools, so we’ll park them and enjoy the view. You’ll see stunning landscapes with high, sacred mountains like Waqaq Willka (5,682 meters) and El Chicón (5,530 meters). Plus, you’ll get a panoramic view of the Vilcanota mountain range.
Return to Cusco: We’ll head back to Cruzpata and then drive you back to Cusco, arriving around the same time you left.
