Itinerary Full-Day Tour to Ballestas Islands, Ica Desert, and Huacachina Oasis
DAY 1: Paracas, Ica and Huachina with Buggies and Sandboard 1 Day
We will begin the full-day tour to Ballestas Islands early in the morning, picking you up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 am, depending on its location. Once in our private transportation, we will head south towards the stunning Ica Desert, the largest desert in Peru.
Discover Paracas Bay and the Ballestas Islands
Once we arrive at Paracas Bay, we will begin an unforgettable excursion to the Ballestas Islands aboard a motorboat. On the way, you’ll see the Candelabro, a large and mysterious geoglyph etched into the desert hills.
Around the Ballestas Islands, you’ll experience incredible wildlife in their natural habitat:
Sea lions playing in the water and jumping near tourist boats, a spectacle worth the visit.
Humboldt penguins, unique to the region.
A variety of guano birds and other marine species.
You’ll also pass by the guano exploitation area, adding a cultural and historical aspect to this breathtaking nature tour.

Adventure at Huacachina Oasis
After lunch, we’ll head to the iconic Huacachina Oasis, a picturesque natural lagoon surrounded by towering sand dunes. Here, adventure awaits:
Experience an adrenaline-filled ride in dune buggies (tubulars).
Try sandboarding, sliding down the dunes for an unforgettable thrill.
Afterward, you’ll have free time to:
