This exciting trip begins at 9:00 am at your hotel in Cusco and will take you through the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you will meet the Llamas and Alpacas in a ranch. After an introduction to these fascinating creatures and the ranch facilities, you will head to the picturesque town of Maras and the ancient salt platforms of Salineras, used since the time of the Incas.

Then, you will embark on a 2-hour hike alongside the Llamas and Alpacas, ascending to more than 3,750 meters, where you will witness breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, such as Chicon, Veronica, and Salkantay. You will explore Lake Huaypo and enjoy lunch with spectacular scenery.

The trip continues to Moray, an intriguing site that will remind you of the famous Nasca Lines. From Moray, you will descend to the bottom of the valley before heading back to the ranch. Finally, around 4:00 pm, they will take you back to Cusco.

Llama Trekking Maras Moray 1 Day

We Pick you up at 9:00 am from your hotel in Cusco. Transfer to ranch, located in the Sacred Valley (Maras). At ranch we will meet our Llamas and complete explanation about the premises and an introduction of our Llamas and Alpacas. After lunch we depart toward the picturesque village of Maras. Then to the salt platforms of Salineras (Inca times), still being used by the locals to extract salt from the mountain spring water. Where the salty water is channeled through an impressive irrigation system and left to evaporate in the sun.Continue 2 hours climbing Hiking with the Llamas and alpacas (1000m) to reach the high Andean. Over at 3750m the stunning scenery and the snow-capped mountains of Chicon, Veronica and Salkantay is impressive. Cooling of the products was achieved by using a genius system of underground air-circulation. Terra Quechua -- Peru guide services Machu Picchu. Sacred Valley, Cusco Terra Quechua is a great company and we recommend them highly. They are a local Peruvian company and offer great services in Cusco, Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu. Edwin was extremely responsive via email and allowed us to fully customize our experience. We are a family of 6 and did the one day hike to Machu Picchu from the train stop at KM 104. Some people refer to this as the 2 day Inca Trail hike, but that is a reference to one day of hiking on the trail followed by a second day at Machu Picchu. We made all of our own train and hotel arrangements and Edwin did all of the work to source our hiking guide, permits, trail lunch etc. Our guide Sam was amazing. We did this hike with kids aged 10, 16, 19 & 19. We were very worried that our 10 year old would not be able to complete the hike. It is a challenging hike but you can do it with kids this age if you have a great guide like Sam from Terra Quechua. The entire family agreed that the hike was the best part of our trip (7 nights in Galapagos and 5 nights in Peru). Sam was a big part of making the day special. Sam was also our guide for a day in Cusco and that was an exceptional experience. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and spoke perfect English. The kids loved him too. We also used another guide from Terra Quechua, Roger, to tour us around sites in Sacred Valley. He too was outstanding. We highly recommend Terra Quechua for anyone looking for guides, hikes or other adventures in Peru. Edwin and his team are professional, flexible, very reasonably priced and provide a first class experience. If you are thinking of doing the one day hike to Machu Picchu from KM104 but you aren't sure if you can do it, you should definitely do it. You will be glad you did.

Good service, quality meals, good lodge, patient guide, I recommend this company 100%. I want to start by thanking immensely all the members of this great company, especially Edwin who was so attentive to us, he helped us in everything every time we wrote to him, My family of 5 people, we spent 6 days / 5 nights incredible in the Manu National Reserve. We wish we could have stayed longer, but that's all time allowed, but we still love the experience. The jungle was just magical, we didn't expect to eat so well in the jungle! My family and I are outdoorsy people and even though we were in the middle of the jungle, we still found the accommodations comfortable but rustic, it was especially beautiful. Our guide Jhoel was great - we saw monkeys, spiders, birds and even a fresh jaguar footprint! I highly recommend Terra Quechua Peru to those people who are looking to do tours in the Manu National Reserve, you could not be in better hands.

Increible experiencia haciendo Inka Jungle Una experiencia increible. Gracias!!!
